London Hand-Cut Crystal Handled Wine Decanter - 800 ml

From the London collection, this handled decanter is hand-blown by master glassmakers and then cut by hand in the pattern the collection is known for: vertical mitres set against a diamond field, worked so that the crystal holds the light rather than simply reflecting it.

The applied handle is a traditional English form, intended for a decanter that is passed at the table. It suits port and fortified wines particularly well, and is equally suited to whisky, cognac and aged rum.

Decanting serves two purposes. It separates an older wine from its sediment, and it aerates a younger one, opening the aromatics and softening the tannin structure.

For over 35 years, Royal Scot Crystal has been dedicated to creating exquisite, timeless crystal glassware that celebrates traditional craftsmanship and refined design. At the heart of the brand is a commitment to skilled artistry, with each hand-cut or mouth-blown piece individually crafted with care and expertise. Combining elegant styling with everyday functionality, Royal Scot Crystal offers distinctive pieces designed for gracious entertaining, special occasions and the home.
