Hering Berlin is a German porcelain manufactory founded by master ceramicist Stefanie Hering, who opened her studio in Berlin-Prenzlauer Berg in 1992; the Hering Berlin brand followed in 1999. The house is known for a purist approach in which unglazed bisque porcelain is fired at around 1,400C, producing a dense, matt, velvet-like surface often paired with glazed interiors and precious-metal detailing. Its tableware is used by leading restaurants and hotels internationally, and pieces are made in Germany.
